2009 |

The
company began the year as proud recipients of the Fringe Report Award
for Best Encouragers of Talent. God Lost, a double
bill of darkly comic plays by Mark Brown and Mike Shephard sold-out
the Etcetera Theatre as part of the Camden Fringe and further festival
and internet radio performances extended the company's reach beyond
the North London fringe. |

2008 |

Ten in a Bed entered its fifth anniversary year looking to further succeed and expand, building upon New Writing Sunday which continued to encourage accessibility and interest in theatre throughout London. Ordinary Dreams by Marcus Markou premiered at New Writing Sunday at went on to run at the Trafalgar Studios while others events included an Election Special and another sell-out Christmas show. |

March
saw the first full production of The Citadel by Matthew
Bartlett at the Space and the Clerkenwell Theatre. In April the company
produced Being God's Probation Officer by Mike Shephard
at the Tabard Theatre. New Writing Sunday
premiered more than twenty new scripts and launched the Comedy
Toboggan sketch writing competition which culminated in the
record audience of our Christmas Special. |

2006 |

Preparations began for a production of The Citadel by Matthew Bartlett, with showcase previews at The Clerkenwell Theatre New Writing Week and the Cockpit Theatre in Westminster. In July the company launched New Writing Sunday, a regular new writing event at the Clerkenwell Theatre in association with Big Wheel Theatre and the Exmouth Market Centre. Working closely with writers, we aimed to give them the opportunity to receive valuable feedback and to become involved in the rehearsal process. |

2005 |

Tom Stoppard's Dogg's Hamlet, Cahoot's Macbeth was produced at the Edinburgh fringe. A very successful production, it played to packed houses at Zoo Venues and saw members working with new talent drawn from outside the company for the first time. |

August
saw our revival of Howard Brenton's Magnificence at
the Edinburgh fringe, in its first production since 1973. In the October
of 2004 Magnificence successfully transferred to The
Greenwood Theatre on the South Bank. In the December of this year company
members approached Jacobean comedy with a production of John Fletcher's
The Woman's Prize. |
